Over a Mile for Water

Children walk a mile or two, on rocky paths through the bush and down steep embankments to reach the river.

All this is done while American children wake-up to their breakfast cereal, their parents hot coffee, never having to think about where their water comes from or if it is safe to drink.

UNICEF estimates that 63 million people in Nigeria lack access to clean water.
